Here is a short story about Christmas :)

Christmas Gift Bell from Santa

One night, in Cossol Town, there was a kid named Louis playing on the yard with his friends. The kid was only six as he did not quite know things around him. It was about 7 PM, on December 22. The year was 2014. They were playing a sliding-stone game. The gameplay was quite simple, all they had to do was to pick some stones along the yard, and put them on a square which they had drawn before playing the game. Louis picked 4 stones and he put them in formation of 1-2-1 upside down. His friends used another forms of putting the stones uniquely. Then Louis slid one of his 4 stones towards his friends'. He won a game as he slid his stone correctly and hit them. What important in this game to win was about how one kid's stone hit another stone which was 2 metres apart from the kid's stone. Louis won the game. He went home and told his father about it. His mother passed away when he was two. His father was so glad to hear that and gave him a £0.5 note to save because he had wanted to buy a new pair of shoes. It was 9 PM and he went straightly to bed.

The next day he went to school happily as he wanted to meet his teacher, Ms. Sarah Brown, for he was told he got an A for his Maths and he wanted to give her a bell which his father gave him as a last year's Christmas gift. Then he finally met his teacher, and said hello to her. By the time he gave her the bell, his teacher asked him, 'Why do you give me this lovely bell, my boy?' and he replied with a big smile, 'Because you have given me a good mark'. Ms. Brown thanked him for the bell, and went straight to the classroom.

The next day, December 24th, he went to school with his father. His father drove a car and they were talking very nicely. As they talked much, his father did not pay attention that there was a big truck in front of them, and hit them hard. His father broke his head and blood came out from his head, no one helped them because the truck driver died. The road was very silent and calm, not as busy like in the woods. Louis was fine, he just hurt his head a little bit. He got out of the car, tried to shout as loudly as possible but nobody came to see them. He then walked, walked an walked as far as he could and finally found a small cottage. He knocked at the door, thrice, and an old man came out. He asked Louis why he could be there for the place was isolated from the crowd. 'I don't know', said Louis. The old man asked him to get in the cottage, 2 hours time passed as he told the old man everything. And the old man smiled at him and gave him a small strange leave that he had never seen before. The leave was round. 'It is a tool for you to teleport to your home, kid', said the old man. 'How can I use it, Sir', replied Louis. The old man held a moment and exhaled and said, ' All you have to do is to keep it in your pocket and pray. Now you can go back to the place you left and you will see the car will no longer be there'. 'What? How?', asked Louis. The old man did not answer what Louis questioned and left him. Louis then went back to where the accident took place and there was no car anymore, just like what the old man said, and no one was there, the road was very calm and silent. Louis teared out his tears for a while and he went back to the cottage again but there was nothing. There was woods where that was supposed to be the cottage. Louis had no more idea to stay or to leave. He decided to have an overnight stay under a big tree, shivering of coldness, because it snowed at night and he had no one to hug, still wearing his dirty school uniform.

The next day, it was December 25th, he woke up at 6 PM as usual. He still kept the leave the old man gave and said to the leave, 'Oh Mr. Leave, what am I going to do?'. The kid just did not have another choice but to leave the tree and continued his journey to nowhere. On his way, he remembered that the day was a Christmas day. He then asked to himself, 'I miss my bell'. Then suddenly he heard a bell rang very loudly and it was getting near to him. He started to close his eyes and prayed. Soon, there was an old man dressed in red and rode four deers, known as Santa Claus, flying in the air and then landed in front of Louis. Louis was very surprised, because his face looked exactly the same as the old man's. The old man then asked him if he still kept the leave. Louis took the leave out and gave it to Santa and by the time he gave him the leave, it turned to be a bell, which looked the same as the bell his father gave him. Miracle! Santa said to him, 'You are a great boy, you have a single heart that leads you to do everything correctly, you are a good boy and I will not let you be alone. Take this bell as a gift from me and tell other people that I gave you this' and he disappeared. The snow stopped and Louis got very sleepy eyes, he fell asleep. The next day he woke up, he found that he was at his bedroom but his parents were away and never back. His uncle came and brought a pet dog for Louis. Louis was very happy that he had a friend at home. He was never alone anymore.
